How To Unlock Any Unknown Smart Phone Pattern/Password

image

Smart phones are now very common than even a computer. Sometimes, you do see some little problems that you think are bigger problems just because you don’t know how to fix them.

Do you know something?
You can actually fix that problem all by yourself and keep that money for yourself.

Problems like getting your pattern locked or forgetting your passwords are simple problems that you should be able to fix all by yourself. The repairers always take your money for nothing.
Well, with technical minded people like us around, you don’t have anything to worry about because we will do everything possible to help you fix the small problems all by yourself.
In this new tutorial, I will be teaching you how to unlock any smart phone pattern or password.

There are two different ways to unlock a pattern

First, if you have forgotten the pattern, you can easily draw the pattern several times to get it locked completely. When the pattern is locked, you can use your Gmail account to unlock it. With this tutorial, you must make sure your internet connection is active and you must know the email and password before you go through this tutorial.
If the first tutorial didn’t work, then you have to go through this second tutorial. This tutorial will wipe all data from your phone including pictures, videos, contacts and settings. So you go through this tutorial at your own risk.
If you are ready for this, then let’s go.

  1. Take out the external memory card if there is any.
  2. Take out the battery for a minute and put it back.
  3. Press and hold “Home key + Volume + Power button” until you see some menu.
  4. Use the Up or Down Volume to scroll through and select “Wipe data/Factory Reset”
  5. Press the “Power button” to click
6.Scroll and Select “Yes” to do reset
  6. Go back and select “Wipe Cache Partition”
  7. Click on “Reboot System Now”
Now, your phone should boot with a new screen just like how you bought it at first.

Note: The tutorial may differ depending on the type of phone you are using. If you are facing any problem with the tutorial.

10+ Amazing Whatsapp Tricks

image

Here comes another whatsapp tricks and hacks for all whatsapp users. Enjoy reading and tryout all the tricks listed below.

1. BEGONE, BLUE TICKS OF MISERY
We know how it is. You’re at figure skating practice, your phone buzzes, and you glance down briefly before nailing a spectacular triple axle.
Sometimes you’ve only got time for a quick glance, taking a little time to formulate a response as you carry on with the rest of our day. Ideally without having the sender realise that we actually looked at said message five hours ago, as otherwise they’d think we’re ignoring them. That’s the privelege the blue ticks take away.
Recently though, the chat app has realised the error of its ways and silently come up with a workaround. The liberty of message-mulling is ours again.

How: Users can just access Privacy via Settings and disable Read Receipts. However, this feature is currently only available to Android users who are on the all new beta version of the app.
If you’re that desperate though, you have to download the beta and head to your Android phone’s settings, enable Unknown Sources to install the APK file as it’s not in the Google Play Store yet.
There, now it’s time to iron out the kinks in your friendships that the blue ticks have caused. The rest of us will just have to wait for a future update.

2. SEE WHEN YOUR MESSAGES ARE READ
Think the double blue ticks are the worst thing to happen to relationships since Last Seen? Think again. Here’s another way you could annoy your mates.

In addition to finding out the exact time your messages are delivered, you can also choose to see the exact time your message was read if you choose to stick with the ticks.

How: Go to any of your WhatsApp chats, tap and hold on any of the messages you’ve sent in that chat, followed by the Info option. For iOS users, you can also drag towards the left to reveal a window which will show the time your message was delivered and subsequently read.

It works for group messages too with the window listing the time each participant read the message.

3. TIED TO YOUR NUMBER
If you’re overseas and you get a new data sim, there’s no need to go through the hassle of registering the new number attached to the SIM and faff around adding contacts. Just carry on using WhatsApp with your regular number.

How: When you put your new SIM in and activate WhatsApp, you’ll be prompted by the messaging service to register the new number. But doing so will mess up your contacts list. Just ignore the pop-up or cancel it, and your WhatsApp should work linked to your old number, while using your new data SIM.

4. SENDING PUBLIC MESSAGES PRIVATELY
If you’ve got a generic announcement to make – an invite to a weekend BBQ or an intervention about your friend’s unhealthy obsession with KFC – and you don’t want to do it on the loudmouth platform that is Facebook, this feature works in pretty much the same way as BCC-ing people in an email.

Your recipients will get the message as if it was a privately composed one, oblivious to the fact that you’ve sent the exact same invite to 342 other people. Sincerity? What’s that?

How: On the top left hand corner of your WhatsApp Chats window, just below the search bar, you’ll notice a Broadcast Lists. Tap on it for the option to create a new list of contacts you want your message to go out to, and message away like you would normally.

5. BACK UP YOUR CHATS
Worried about losing a year’s worth of messages? You don’t have to. WhatsApp knows how precious your chat history is to you and secures it all for you in the cloud.

How: Whatsapp now gives you the ability to schedule a cloud backup on daily basis, weekly basis or monthly basis. If you are using an older version of whatsapp, then you can’t access this feature until you up grade.

6. SHORTCUTS TO CONVERSATIONS
If there are certain people you chat to more often, it might be a good idea to create a shortcut for them directly on your homescreen so you don’t have to keep opening and closing WhatsApp.

How: Tap and hold on the chat (group or individual) of your choice and a tab will pop up. Select the Add Conversation Shortcut option and the chat in question will appear as the person’s profile photo on your mobile desktop. Unfortunately this only applies for Android users and not iPhone ones. Sorry guys.

7. SAVING DATA BANDLE
When you’re on a 1GB data plan, every MB counts. You don’t want to be slapped with a hefty bill at the end of the month from sending stupid shareable memes and screenshots of every little thing. There’s a way to make sure that all that heavy-duty image sending won’t eat up what little complimentary data you might have in your plan.

How: Go to Settings, then Chat Settings and then Auto-Download and tweak the settings for how you want your received media to be downloaded. Choose Wi-Fi if you don’t want to overload your data plan. Alternatively, you can trigger downloads manually by switching Auto-Download to Never. You can also save the hassle of having to clean up your camera roll every so often by tweaking Save Incoming Media off.

8. KEEPING GROUP CHATS ON THE DOWN LOW
As WhatsApp becomes the go-to chat app for more and more people, the likelihood of making group decisions gets carried over as well. So if you’re always getting added to new group chats filled with strangers (you social butterfly, you), you might want to keep certain details private until those strangers become friends.

How: Head to Settings, Privacy, and then tweak your Last Seen, Profile Photo and Status to retain a bit of mystery. Choose to share them with Everyone, or only your Contacts, or Nobody at all. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about hiding your phone number.

9. STAYING SELECTIVELY NOTIFIED
Not all group chats are created equal, as some are filled with nothing but white noise. And it’s exactly those group chats you want to ignore until you get some down time to sieve through everything that’s been said. On the flipside, there are the group chats you want to stay on top of like ones deciding dinner plans for the night and so on. Here’s how you can stay selectively notified.

How: Go to the significant group chats, tap on the name to bring up Group Info and then Custom Notifications. There, you can select a custom message alert for the group chats of your choice. All you have to do now is remember which alert tone you assigned to which group chat. This customization is only applicable for group chats though.

10 . FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT WHERE YOUR FRIEND IS
We’ve all been a victim of that “on the way” lie when the person in question is still in bed. To prevent yourself from ever getting duped again, insist that the contact shares their current location with you by tapping on the arrow icon next to the text box and then Share Location. There’s also a way of preventing them from manually entering their location.

How: The way the location appears is a clue. If it’s a real GPS-based location, the location share will appear as a dropped pin, but if it’s a location they entered, its address will appear beside the dropped pin. Feel free to call them out on it.

China’s economy in 4 terrifying charts

image
Australian investment bank Macquarie’s “Macro Monday” note on China presents a worrying snapshot of the country’s economy. Headlines have been dominated by the country’s recent stock market collapse, which so far hasn’t spilled over to the wider economy. But, as Macquarie points out, that’s just one of several big issues facing China right now. Here are 4 of the scariest charts:

1. Chinese stocks slumped 10% last
week

Macquarie

image

Despite huge levels of intervention from Beijing , stock markets are still diving. Last week alone the benchmark Shanghai Composite fell 10%. Between its peak in June and its low in July the index collapsed over 30%.

Clearly there’s still a huge issue with stock markets right now and that’s a big problem for the government. Millions of ordinary Chinese investors have money tied up in shares and there are fears that if the slump gets any worse it could threaten “social stability.”

2. Exports are dead and investment and
consumption are dying

image

The chart above shows the makeup of China’s GDP growth and pretty much everything is falling. Exports, which played a big part in GDP between 2005 and 2007, died in 2009 and don’t look like coming back. Meanwhile investment and consumption — ordinary Chinese spending money on things — are both also shrinking.

3. …and GDP growth is slowing

image

Given that all the components of GDP are contracting, it’s no surprise that GDP growth is falling and predicted to keep shrinking. Economists also expect China to miss its projected growth targets and sceptics also believe China’s growth figures are inflated.

4. China’s population is getting older

image

To make matters worse, China’s working age population has peaked— the percentage of people aged 15-64 is set to decline over the next 50 years. The means there’ll be fewer people to drive GDP growth and more people depending on GDP growth to service their pensions and healthcare. Not a good combination.
So in conclusion — millions of ordinary Chinese people are caught up in a stock market crisis that could destroying their savings. Meanwhile, consumption is already shrinking, in part causing a slowdown in China’s GDP growth.

And that’s unlikely to pick up in the long run because China is sitting on a demographic timebomb that will lead to higher outgoings.

‘It Is Their Right To Serve’- Female Fertility Counselor Replies NYSC

image

A Lagos-based female fertility counsellor, Grace has taken a bold step in fighting for pregnant women and nursing mothers who were recently banned by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), from serving their
country.

She added that it is their right to serve so they should not use their present status as an excuse to bar them from service. She however suggested that they can allow them to serve in the state or town where their husbands are based.

Grace got married but was unable to conceive for seven years before she was blessed with a child.

Meanwhile, the director general of the NYSC, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi has dismissed earlier reports of the NYSC banning pregnant women and nursing mothers from enrolling or from orientation camps.

Nigeria Refinery To Hit 2m Litres Daily By October As It Begins Production

image

The Kaduna Refining and Petrochemicals Company (KRPC), is now refining of about 60,000 barrels of crude per day following the rehabilitation of two of the company’s production lines.

The company said it was currently working with a target to release two million litres of petrol daily into the market by October. The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Saidu Muhammed told THISDAY ON Friday that the company was on phased rehabilitation, with a target to hit 60 per cent of its local refining capacity, which is about 2 million litres daily, in the next few months, stating further that there is no reason why the company cannot achieve 6 million litres by early next year.

“We are doing alot at the moment to make sure that we achieve 80 per cent of refining capacity.” He assured that the KRPC’s production level would hit 90 per cent by the second quarter of 2016.

The company has an installed production capacity of 110,000 barrels of crude per day. The managing director said rehabilitation work on the remaining two production lines of the
company would be completed by March 2016.

Freedom Online, however, quoted the Muhammed as urging the Federal Government to safeguard the oil pipeline from Warri to Kaduna from activities of vandals in order to sustain production.

According to him, vandalism remained a major threat to smooth transportation of crude to the refinery. Muhammed, therefore, advised the Federal Government to deploy military personnel to provide maximum security to pipelines in the area. The facility upgrade of the refinery, which started in October 2014 under the Jonathan administration, is to cover 18-months.

The work entails phased and simultaneous rehabilitation of all refineries in the country using in-house and locally available resources and manpower in line with the Nigerian Content Law. It also involved the use of Original Equipment Manufacturer representatives to effect major equipment overhaul and rehabilitation.

The KRPC boss said the resumption of
production would open employment opportunities in both formal and the informal sectors as well as address the lingering fuel scarcity in the northern region.

Muhammed explained that thousands of
transporters would resume lifting of the product, thereby providing employment to truck drivers and other stakeholders. According to him, the development will also boost other businesses including the banking sector.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), on Wednesday announced that the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries had resumed full
production after the phased rehabilitation. NNPC operates three refineries with a combined capacity of 445,000 barrels per day (bpd). They
are the 210,000bpd Port Harcourt refinery, the 125,000bpd Warri refinery and petrochemical plant, and the 110,00bpd Kaduna refinery and
petrochemical plant.

The commencement of operations at the Port Harcourt and Warri plants will boost the country’s local refining output and reduce the volume of petroleum products imported into the country.

Nigerian Hacking Governors Forum: Amaechi, Akpabio, Uduaghan Hacked Phones Too

image

The governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson, is not the only politician hacking phones and intercepting communication of political peers and rivals in Nigeria.

Almost all recent governors of the South South region of Nigeria intercepted calls and hacked phones and computers, an illegal practice that gave them backdoor access to many people’s private lives, an ongoing PREMIUM TIMES investigation has revealed.

Our findings show that Rotimi Amaechi, former Rivers state governor; Godswill Akpabio, former Akwa Ibom state governor; and Emmanuel Uduaghan, former Delta state governor illegally
acquired technologies that allowed them conduct mass surveillance and hack people’s gadgets, mainly to eavesdrop on their conversations, know who they talked with and what their plans were.

These three formers governors are the latest privacy violators and spymasters weeks after Mr. Dickson was exposed for similar illegal practice. They all exited office as governors in May, following the end of their second term in office. Most of the hacking carried out by the governors occurred within the last four years, during the last term of their two-term tenures as governors and at times in liaison with compromised federal security authorities.

In fact, those who should know said some officials of the State Security Service, SSS, colluded with the governors as they engaged in massive hacking, helping disguise their acts as
federal security projects. Officials at the office of the National Security Adviser admitted demanding explanations from the hacking governors over their illegal surveillance programmes at different times with each of them giving similar excuses.

“They claimed they were using it to track
kidnappers,” officials at the office of the National Security Adviser said. “The governors claimed they were carrying out the operations with the SSS, but our investigations showed they were running it from their offices.” Investigators from the office of the National Security Adviser later found the governors’ claims that they were hacking phones to track kidnappers to be false, suggesting the governors targeted political superiors, associates and peers, while using the SSS to disguise the expedition as approved national security projects.

Some politicians and businessmen interviewed for this story from the affected states said they knew all along that these governors monitored
their communications illegally.

A contractor from Akwa Ibom said Governor Akpabio refused to pay him for the project he executed for the state after he tapped his phone and overheard some critical comments he made about the former governor to some friends.

“He once boasted to me that he knew what I was doing and what I was saying about him,” the contractor said. Rivers  State The Rivers spying program started in 2008– in the wake of the Niger Delta amnesty program–as a security contract targeted at helping the police in the state respond faster to crime scenes using a C4i (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) technology deployed by an Israeli military security firm, MPD Systems.

The project saw the Rivers State government and MPD Systems train at least 1,500 security officials, providing the perfect ‘federal’ cover under which the political spying was carried out.
The spokesperson of the Amaechi regime, Ibim Semenitari, argued that the project could not have been used for spying on politicians.

“Given the well publicized infractions between the Rivers State Government and the GEJ (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan)-led federal Government the state would not have been able to embark on the issues raised without the security agencies clamping down on its officials,” she said. She also argued that the project was approved by late former president, Umaru Musa yar’Adua, after a presentation attended by Nigeria’s service chiefs at the time and the then head of the SSS, Afakriya Gadzama.

“Equipment were imported with the approval of the NSA,” and “The outfit was manned by security officials drawn from the Police and SSS who were responsible to their state commands,”
Ms. Semenitari argued. The office of the National Security Adviser denied issuing the End User Certificate for C4i. Also, the command centre was installed and operated from the Government house, rather than the SSS or Police department. Mr. Amaechi’s last term as Rivers state governor was very turbulent. He fell out with his close allies, including former first lady, Patience Jonathan, and the current governor, Nyesom Wike. His deputy governor jumped ship few days to the elections.

The state recorded an unprecedented level of political violence in the run-up to the general elections. Mr. Amaechi’s political party, the All Progressives Congress lost that election in the
state. A commission of inquiry Mr. Amaechi empanelled to probe the election violence recorded at least 30 deaths of the former governor’s party members. The opposing Peoples Democratic Party boycotted the inquiry.
Akwa Ibom state Even though Mr.

Akpabio and his Rivers counterpart disagreed on many fronts, their appetite for surreptitiously collecting private data from their political associates and rivals appear to tally. Both former governors started their spying facilities on similar premise – to fight kidnapping and other related crimes. “We knew that he (Godswill Akpabio) acquired a device to monitor people’s telephone calls but there was absolutely nothing we could do,” Umana Okon who was secretary to the state government when the device was installed said.

“The device was acquired at the time kidnapping was quite high in the state. But after kidnapping abated, it was used to monitor telephone calls of private citizens and government officials.”
The period when Mr. Akpabio used the phone hacking tools in Akwa Ibom also coincided with a period that was fraught with political assassinations, kidnapping and intimidation. The National Security Adviser, once in 2012, declined to issue Mr. Akpabio an End User Certificate to buy Hacking Team’s cyber warfare
tools.

The Akpabio regime in Akwa Ibom denied running the hacking facility. Aniekan Umana, the state’s commissioner of information – he was also the information commissioner under Akpabio – said Mr. Akpabio never ran any private security facility, insisting that everything security was run by the SSS and police.

Officials of that government who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES in confidence however confirmed the existence of the spying facility. Like Rivers’, Mr. Akpabio’s spying facility was also installed and run from the governor’s office rather than the SSS or police department. The state government also denied the claims. “The governor (Mr. Akpabio) has no need to hack anyone’s phone,” Aniekan Umana said. He claimed that when the state sought the Hacking Team’s tools, it was to help the security agencies.

When the spying became very obvious, many politicians who felt their privacy had been invaded complained to the National Security Adviser but nothing was done. With a new government installed since May 29, the opposition in Akwa Ibom are now calling for a full-scale investigation of the surveillance
programmes and its privacy breaches.
“If the law was breached in any way, those guilty will be made to face justice. That is the minimum we expect from the Federal Government,” Mr. Okon, now an opposition leader, demanded.

Delta state
Delta state was not as violent as both Rivers and Akwa Ibom state during the last elections. But Emmanuel Uduaghan, the state’s former governor who operated the spying tools – also from his office building – cited kidnapping as the reason for purchasing the tool. Mr. Uduaghan could not be reached for his comments. Text messages and telephone calls to his spokespersons were neither answered nor returned.

Political Goons, Cyber Bullies The Rivers state C4i, Ms. Semenitari claims, was handed over to the new government, suggesting it is probably still in use. The Akwa Ibom facility is still in use in the governor’s office, our sources said.
The current state of the Delta state spying facility is unclear. The office of the National Security Adviser claims the hacking governors repeatedly ignored warnings to discontinue their “illegal” projects, in apparent abuse of their political influence.

Mr. Amaechi was a strong member of the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum at the time. He
later fell out with former President Goodluck Jonathan and became the leader of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign team. He is currently a close ally of Mr. Buhari, Messrs. Akpabio and Uduaghan were strong allies of former President Jonathan. Mr. Akpabio later became chairman of the PDP Governor’s Forum. He is now a serving senator and Minority leader of the Senate.

Bayelsa Hacking Team
At the time the NSA was probing these three governors, the hacking expedition of the Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson, was largely unknown. Until it was exposed by PREMIUM TIMES, Mr. Dickson’s hacking activities were stealth and done without permission by the office of the National Security Adviser. It was only revealed after Hacking Team, the Italian cyber weaponry firm, which provided Mr. Dickson with attack tools was itself hacked early July and internal company documents leaked to the public.

The documents indicate governor’s hacking activities began in 2012 and lasted through 2013, according to Hacking Team’s leaked internal company documents. In Nigeria, only federal security agencies are allowed to acquire cyber attack and defence tools. And when they did, it has to be with the permission of the National Security Adviser who provides End User Certificates. The right to either intercept communications or act to suspend rights in the face of national security rests with the Federal Government.

None of the hacking governors got either
permission or End User Certificates from the Office of the National Security Adviser before embarking on their privacy-breaching surveillance.

In fact, the former Akwa Ibom state governor, now a senator, once failed to secure an End User Certificate from the NSA to buy Hacking Team’s Galileo in 2013. Cyber security analysts say data acquired by the hacking governors may have been used– and could be used in future – for cyber bullying, intimidation and blackmail. These illegal hacking activities of politicians spotlights the vulnerability of the private lives of
many Nigerians. The Hacking Team’s hack revelations and this, from the office of the National Security Adviser, shows anyone – individuals and organizations – with enough financial and political clout can acquire and
deploy hitech hacking tools and illegally collect private data from targeted Nigerians.

“Unfortunately, the law that should protect the right to citizen privacy, and allow them seek redress if illegally hacked, doesn’t exist in Nigeria,” Gbenga Sesan, Executive Director, Paradigm Initiative Nigeria said. “That’s one of
the reasons why all the biometric information being obtained by banks (BVN), NIMC (NIN), etc, are unsafe and should be halted until data protection is guaranteed in Nigeria.” If the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki, who probed
these former governors had opted to prosecute them, he would have been held back by the lack of clear laws against the former governors.

Nigeria’s CyberCrime law was only enacted in 2015. A section of the law which could be deployed to punish the hacking governors prescribes a prison term of not more than two years, or a fine of N5 million or both. “Unauthorised surveillance of individuals is ethically wrong even if our laws are fuzzy about
our rights to privacy from digital intrusion,” Femi Longe, co-founder of Co-Creation Hub, argued.

“Heaven knows how they have used the
information obtained illegally to pervert justice and unduly influence individuals within and outside the state.”
